A friend of mine told me about a place where there is a two story outhouse and I laughed at him and said yah right prove it so off we went. about an hour of driving later he said pull over and park here walk behind that long two story old building and see what you can see. To my amazement there it was a two story outhouse. To my understanding it used to be housing for a logging camp many years ago and the upper story was for the women and the lower for the men there used to be a walkway from the upper floor of the building to the outhouse but that has been lost over the years. I wish I had done a better job with this but I just had to post it.

I don't know wh would have it worse. Being on the bottom left you vulnerable to leaks, but being on the top left you vulnerable to odors.

Yeah! I can't imagine getting up in the middle of the night and having to get dressed to visit the liu. And think about how cold that seat might be.......brrrrr. And.......you might sit on a critter.
