Artist's Comments

Ok I know this isn't the best shot but it is a first for me to see an Eagle and it's nest in the wild. So please don't be mean if you have a comment to help that would be great, just be nice about it'

Excellent capture! I'd love to see one myself. You should count yourself fortunate to have seen and photographed it.

 YOU FOUND IT!!! :boogie: Very cool! I wouldn't dream of being mean--I think it's awesome you found it and got a nice headshot of the resident  Now you can stake it out and catch them coming and going  :camera: I think that's the only way to improve future captures unless you're good at climbing trees :giggle:
I've one seen a bald eagle once or twice and I've never gotten close enough to get a picture, so Good for you! :+fav:

OMG!! I am SOOOOO Jealous. I've never been able to spot an Eagle in the wild. I've gone several times to where they live and never even found a nest. Excellent work Becky. You were definitely in the right place at the right time.

Good job Becky.
What a massive nest hey!
They keep adding to them every year and often become so heavy that the tree breaks.

Thank you!!!!
I went in the evening and the light is so much better to work with. =D
I had never seen an Eagle nest in the wild I had only seen them in the zoo and let me tell you the zoo has nothing on nature!!
